Osteopathy is a holistic treatment that looks at the body as a whole.
Using a case history, diagnostic testing and palpation the osteopath will come to a working diagnosis and treat using a variety of treatments such as soft tissue (massage), mobilisation, manipulation, taping or cranial osteopathy,
Each treatment is tailored to the individual depending on needs and personal preference.
If treatment is not appropriate for you, you maybe referred to another specialist.
Osteopaths complete a 4 year University degree and have to be insured and registered with the General Osteopathic Council (G.O.s.C) in order to legally practise in the U.K.
Each year they are required to complete courses and training to keep their knowledge current and in the best interest of patients.
So you are in safe hands!
